JUNCTION REVUE

Junction416 produces live music events and represents local emerging bands and musicians through the use of media creation. The project was established in 2018 by Junction local Michael Novalski when he saw a decline in the cultural and live music events within his local community. Its objective is to reclaim The Junction as a destination and cultural bed for live music entertainment. Over the years, Michael was an in-house promoter at Toronto's legendary el Mocambo Tavern and The Velvet Underground in the early 2000s, the former booking manager at Junction City Music Hall, the entertainment producer of the 2019 Junction BIA Summer Solstice Festival, the creator of the Junction Pop-Up Music Series in 2023, the event coordinator for the 2024 Queen West Stage Series, the producer of his monthly music event Nova's Junction Revue, and most notably the creator of the annual McMurray Street Festival. Junction416 has worked with Sub Pop recording artists Kiwi Jr.,Wing Night, The Brokes, Juno Reggae winners Kirk Diamond and Kiaro Mclean, Odario, Shebad, Juno nominee Ammoye, The Dub Chronicles, Pink Leather Jackets, & Madfolk.
